The shashka (Cherkessian for "long knife") is a saber with origins in the Caucasus. The Cossacks living there use this traditional saber as a standard weapon in their cavalry units to this day. This replica M1811 has a wooden grip and a brass handguard with the characteristic ring at the end of the guard. The saber comes with a matching wooden scabbard, wrapped in leather and
