Black joint compound is then put on the surface and when dried and sanded it is covered with copper leaf. Fired copper is layered and floated in the center of the squares. These squares in the circle have an inner glow to them which appears as light from the inside. Painted cedar willow stick attached to the surface. Each piece is unique and will vary slightly.
