The seax is based on a 10th century original excavated in Denmark. Seaxes like this were used all over Europe between the 7th and 11th century. This scramaseax is 45 cm long with a hardwood grip and it has a blade made of carbon steel with a hardness of 50 52 HRC. The blade is 31,75 cm long. This seax weighs 650 grams and is delivered including a leather scabbard.
