The leather is pebbled and very textured. May be elephant hide. Lined with linen fabric. the lining is stained as you can see in the pictures. Otherwise, the purse is in fairly good condition. One side of the frame hangs just a bit below the corresponding facing frame. Some verdigris on the small round hinges. No maker's label or marks. it measures 8" wide at bottom,
