Originally this type of spearhead was used from the 8th to 11th century. They were occasionally decorated (engraved or painted). Spearheads like this were used by the Vikings, Franks, Carolingians, Merovingians and Anglo Saxons. This spearhead is 24 cm long with a blade of 15,2 cm and a shaft diameter of 2,5 cm.
