Vikingbroche Oppland, verzilverd brons Luifels - tentharingen en touw Deze drinkhoorneinde is gemaakt vanThis Viking brooch is a replica of a 9th century original found in Oppland in Norway. The brooch shows clear similarities with bracelets worn by the Gaels around the same time in Ireland. Often the pins of these brooches were so long that in Old Irish Law there was a fine for accidentally injuring other people with these pins. This brooch may have been plundered during one of the many Viking lootings at Irish monasteries.
