Harmonious earth tones accent the curves on the form. First dried and opened, the gourd's seeds are removed before the "canvas" is primed, lavished with acrylic paint, and finished with a protective matte varnish. The hard edge shapes are executed in clean pure colors, giving the work a modern feel that reveals a different combination of
