They were found in the original case which is marked Samuel Epstein, Optician, Phila., Pa. As for the condition there is some corrosion on the frames which can be seen in the photographs. Also the case is very worn. This style was common from the 1850's until the 1890's, this pair was made sometime during those years. Measurements: Lens height 1" Lens width 1 3 8"
