Opphus, Vang, Hedemark, Dublin, Waterford and Wexford. This type of axe blade was presumably developed around the 9th century. This axe blade is hand forged from one piece. The blade has a length of 165 mm with a max. width of 110 mm and it has an eye of 35 x 25 mm. It has a single sharp edge. This axe blade is a Petersen type G.
