The long torso dress has a dart fitted bodice and a four piece gathered skirt in long or short length. The long dress is sleeveless and may be made in one or two fabrics. The short dress has set in sleeves with elastic in the hems at the lower edges. The applied bow at the front may be of bodice fabric or ribbon. The dress also has centre back zipper.
