Eye of the Storm Product:Eye of the Storm Available in oxidizedThis intricate work by Douglas W. Jones and Kim Kulow Jones explores the coalescing of fine woodworking and the elemental force of fire via burning. Burning creates a rich, variable surface: grain and glue lines become deeply etched, pattern and structure is emphasized. End grain ash was used as the material for this piece, its variances and repetition on full display; a white pigmented wax was then worked into the grain structure left by the burn.
