【Buyer’s Note】フィンランドのGolden Finnというブランドの60年代のサマーマキシドレス。このブランドは活動年も生産量も非常に限られており大変レアなヴィンテージです。長年の保存で所々に染みがありますが、ほとんど着用されていないのか状態も良いです。フィンランドのテキスタイルといえば1951年に設立したMarimekkoですが、Golden Finnも明らかにその文脈の中にいるブランドだと考えられます。テキスタイルのムーブメントに乗ろうとして、Marimekkoが強すぎたのか…定かではありませんが、こちらも目が覚めるようなピンクと大胆なパターンでどこにいても目立つこと間違いなしです。デザイン自体はシンプルなAラインでリラックスして着られます。北欧のテキスタイル、デザインの歴史を感じられる、たまらない一着です。
